The room I booked was updated and clean and available with cable Tv and showers, as example. Location: the hotel was right by the Thruway and Metro, New Paltz, and Mohonk Preserve. I liked this comfortable stay, would definitely go back.

This hotel is by far the worst I've ever stayed at. And the staff that checked us in was very very rude. The room was very dirty and the blind was very old, it kept falling down. Every time we tried to request for something, the staff always had something to say to not fulfil our requests, example: we requested to have someone come in take a look at the blind. We also requested to have a curtain or anything something to cover the window so that it wouldn't look like day time in the room (they have a bright light right outside the window, and the window has no curtain so it makes the room very very bright)! I only had 2 hours of sleep that night because of that! Terrible experience! We also requested to change a room, to which she said there were no more other rooms! I don't mind paying a little more for a better and cleaner room!

Fair price.
Could use a little better 'breakfast bar'.

New matresses, fairly new remodel in whole place. The pool was very enjoyable. They supplied lots of rafts and toys. We had our grandchildren come down for a swim and they didn't seem to care.
Being located next to a strip joint made me think it may be a place for call girls. However itwas absolutely not TRUE!!!I'd give it a 4 out of 5. Bushes set apart the outside businesses so nothng was ever seen.

There is not a positive statement I can make.
The Lodge is a disgrace and should shut down, moved to another locations and rebuilt. Current management should be replaced or trained. We should demand the $153.00 back for the room. The Lodge is run down, dingy, the grounds look like a dumpster, the pool was dirty, carpets torn and worn. The lobby/breakfast area was dirty, worn and horrific in appearance. If it were earlier in the evening, we would have looked for another motel. We couldn't wait till morning...shower (towels were sparse and threadbare). It was a most uncomfortable stay.

Did not have my reservation in their computer and made a big fuss over the Booked.net confirmation page I brought with me. Luckily (for me) they had a room available.

The hotel was run down. The rooms we were given had filthy stained rugs and furniture. The sheets and pillow cases were dingy and one of our rooms on the second floor had an overbearing moldy smell that was extremely unhealthy and left an odor on out clothing when we unpacked after retuning home. Even sleeping with the windows open didn't help.

The room had central heating and a TV set. The bathroom was good and included a bathtub, which I loved. The location is marvellous, not far from the Thruway, Mohonk Preserve, and New Paltz.
